I headed down to Club One on Sunday, tired, cranky and the answers for my final the next morning ringing in my head. Not the best mood to go to a rock concert in. I was shooting Grady. I know… Who?? You’re saying. Grady was once known as Big Sugar with a slightly different line up. The front man being Gordie ‘Grady’ Johnson.
The openers were the Pathalogical Lovers, not bad, good to watch but their performance was a bit sloppy, made for some good pictures though.
When Grady got on, I was told it was going to be loud, but there’s a hard way to explain this loud. It goes into your bones and shakes them. The percussion was coming from a small woman named Nina Singh who was 4 foot nothing. But the power that came out of her. It blew me away. Of course Mr.Johnson was just as beautiful as ever, haha. I secretly have a thing for a good looking man in a pair of nice pants with a cowboy hat on.
