Although I did write about Jeremy Fisher and the Proclaimers in the last post, I skipped over the concert I shot on Friday April 11th, which was Buck 65. I know many of you are going WHO?? But once you listen to THIS song you’ll realize you know at least one of his songs.
The concert was only two hours in length with Cadence Weapon as the opener. TWO HOURS? Yep. Club One had a house band that was playing and Buck 65 was told to be off the stage by 11:30 or they’ll be shut down. That’s bull. I’m sure the house band could have held on to their pretty little skirts for an extra hour, no wonder bands never come to Newfoundland. Sure I’m not exactly a huge fan of Buck 65 and for the life of me couldn’t remember a song by this character until he performed wicked and weird but for fans who did pay the 25 dollars to see him, they were honestly jipped.
But the lighting as per usual at club one was more than agreeable with my camera, especially shooting mainly with the 50mm 1.8, switching to the 18-70mm when it was necessary so more than my fair share of pictures came out of it and I was satisfied.

I did happen to run into a friend of mine down there, Natasha who was a big fan of Buck 65, and got a great snapshot of her completely enthralled with the man.

Until next week..
